Up for sale is a pair of clean, all original Sunoco two-dome tank cars. Both tankers have exterior colors, nice side lettering and graphics as well as clean trucks and frames that are free of rust and oxidation. However, as seen in the photos above there are minor surface marks on the exterior of each tank car plus some minor paint loss on the frames.
One tank car is the early variation from 1948 with metal steps on the frame at each corner. However, some replaced the staple-end magnetic couplers with coil couplers. The second tanker is from the mid-1950's with bar-end trucks and magnetic couplers.
