Now available for sale is a New Old Stock # 6465-160 Lionel Lines Tank Car from the mid-1960's!
This common Lionel Lines tank car from mid-1960's is brand new and has never been used nor on the track. However, the gem of this sale is the extremely rare original box for the freight car! This particular freight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and looks brand new. The exterior colors are stunning, there are no nicks, chips nor marks on the exterior plus the frame, trucks and wheels are all in new condition. Lastly, the 1964 version had two functional couplers -- which is the correct version for the -160 original box.
The original box is complete with all interior and exterior flaps, but as seen in the photos above, there is some minor shelf wear on the exterior. Overall, a nice, clean and solid box that is almost never located with the original freight car.
