Up for sale is a New Old Stock # 6464-450 Great Northern box car from 1956!
Here's a gorgeous, never run and truly Mint Great Northern box car from the mid-1950's. This 65+ year old box car has vibrant exterior colors with crisp, complete and clean side lettering and decals. The only blemish is one decal has started to flake off along the top ridge (as seen in photo 2). Otherwise, this freight car is as fresh and clean as it left the factory years ago plus the door guides, trucks and frame are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, in the 4th photo of the roof, the top left and lower right appear to be discolored -- which is not the case, it's simply a factor of the picture -- the top is uniform in color.
