Here's a gorgeous, undamaged New Haven box car from its first year of production: 1956. This freight car has the first year only bar-end style trucks and a Type IIB body mold. The exterior colors are pristine and the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and complete -- plus nothing is worn nor faded. Lastly, the frame, door guides and trucks are in great condition and free of rust and oxidation. Overall, a gorgeous box car that would look great on a layout or display case.
