Now available for sale is a New Old Stock # 6464-425 Boston & Maine box car from 1960! Additionally, the freight car is the rare unpainted, deep blue variation from 1960 with open journal AAR trucks and a Type IV body mold. The wheels have never been on the track and it is truly in un-run condition. The exterior colors are pristine while the side lettering and graphics are in perfect. All metal components including the base, trucks and door guides look factory fresh and are free of rust and oxidation. Overall, an absolutely stunning and brand new freight car that will enhance any collection!
Also included with the freight car is a nice and solid original Orange Picture box. The box has all internal and external flaps, both end and tuck flaps plus the box is free of tape and puncture holes -- although there are some small tears along the box seams and shelf wear on the exterior.
