Now available for sale is a clean, complete and undamaged State Of Maine box car from the mid-1950's. This freight car has vibrant colors along with crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the frame, trucks and door guides are all clean, complete and free of rust and oxidation. The box car has Type IIA body and a pair of white molded sliding doors painted red and blue. The body is free of nicks, chips and cracks and the only blemishes appears to be a small mark on the roof (lower left in photo 4) and a scratch by the B.A.R. letters on one side as seen in the 2nd photo above. Otherwise, the freight car looks great and will be a nice and colorful addition to anyones collection.
Also included with this freight car is a Middle Classic box. Amazingly, the box still has all original flaps; both end and tuck flaps, all four inner flaps and both coupler flaps. However, there is clear tape on the interior of nearly every flap. Externally, the colors are nice and clean.
