Up for sale is a gorgeous and all-original 646 steam locomotive and 2046W tender from the late 1950's. This somewhat hard-to-find steamer and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to run. The whistle is loud, the smoke unit operates properly, the e-unit cycles without issues and the front headlight does illuminate. Externally, the colors are vibrant, the side lettering and numbers are complete and the cab numbers are the smaller silver rubber stamped variation.
Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on any component plus all wheels and trucks are clean and look great! The tender shell has the raised number board with the 2046 printed on each side and all corner steps are complete and not cracked nor repaired.
