Up for sale is a gorgeous, near-new maroon Lehigh Valley hopper from the mid-1950's. This hopper is the later variation with bar end trucks, beautiful exterior colors and clean, crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. The body is gorgeous, there are no nicks, marks nor surface blemishes plus the trucks, couplers and truck mounting plates are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Although the 6456 is a common hopper, they are usually found in well used condition. This freight car is a high-grade, collector quality hopper that is not easily found.
