Here's a beautiful, all-original Lehigh Valley black quad hopper from the mid-1950's. This hopper is the harder-to-find variation with the spreader bar holes molded into each side as well as trucks with tab couplers dating it to the 1956 timeframe. The freight car is complete, undamaged and the trucks and mounting plate are clean and free of rust and oxidation plus the exterior colors are vibrant and the side lettering and graphics are clean and in great condition. Overall, a very nice looking hopper that is free of any nicks, marks and blemishes.
