Up for sale is a fully cleaned serviced, tested and ready to run Chesapeake & Ohio diesel switcher from the early 1950's. This diesel is the more common three stanchion version that has vibrant exterior colors and the side lettering and decals are 95+% complete and look great! All functionality works as designed by Lionel and the frame, trucks and couplers are clean and free of rust and oxidation.
Included with this C & O diesel is its original box and insert. The box is in poor condition as there is tape on the interior of some flaps and several interior flaps are missing. The original insert is in nice condition and the instructions are clean.
