Here's a beautiful A. T. & S. F. bell ringing switcher from 1949. This road switcher is the early Lionel production variation with the harder-to-find 622 printed on the front radiator as having 10 stanchion supports for the side railing. The bell is fully functional, the exterior colors are vibrant plus the side lettering and decals are clean and complete. The diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for your layout or display case -- plus it runs like a champ and the bell sounds great! There is no damage to the shell, both interior lights work properly, the couplers work fine and certainly no rust nor oxidation on the frame, trucks nor interior. Overall, a great looking switcher that is generally found in well used condition.
