Now available for sale is a New Old Stock # 6167-85 Union Pacific caboose from 1968! This caboose has been said to have been purchased at Madison Hardware in the mid 1980's -- prior to their move out of New York City -- but do not have any paperwork to confirm that information.
In any case, this caboose is brand new, has never been run and the wheels are truly unused and in Mint condition. The exterior color is vibrant, the side lettering is pristine and the general appearance of the caboose is unblemished. Lastly, the arch-bar trucks and couplers are complete and not damaged.
Also included is a brand new, solid, square box with vibrant colors and no tears nor tape. All flaps are still attached and in perfect condition. This caboose can easily be the centerpiece of anyone's collection!
