Up for sale is a customized # 6167-85 Union Pacific caboose that is in great condition. Below is a summary of the caboose as it is available for sale:
- Body: included is an original postwar 6167 Union Pacific caboose shell from the 1960's. The shell is in condition 9 and there's barely a mark or blemish on the exterior.
- Frame / Trucks: included is a nice and clean 6257 / 6357 frame from the late 1940's or early 1950's. On the frame are staple-end trucks with magnetic couplers -- plus the frame and trucks are in condition 7+.
- Other: also included is an upgrade diecast simulated smoke stack in the top of the shell and metal caboose ladders at each end. Lastly, there is a weight on the interior of the frame -- giving the caboose a little beefiness to simulate a typical Lionel caboose produced during the 1948 to 1952 era.
Lastly, a reproduction box is included to protect your caboose.
