Up for sale is a never used, New Old Stock Great Northern Rotary Snowplow from the late 1950's. This small motorized unit has been thoroughly cleaned, tested and works properly. The exterior colors are pristine, the side lettering and graphics are gorgeous, the side railings are beautiful and free of nicks and chips plus the body is complete and free of nicks, marks and chips. Additionally, there is no rust nor oxidation on the unit, the wheels are brand new plus the trucks and couplers are complete and functional. Lastly, the snowplow does rotate as designed by Lionel.
Also included with the freight car is its original box and insert. The insert is as solid as a brick, is complete and not torn nor repaired. However, as seen in the photos, the box is in poor condition. It does have both end and tuck flaps, but several inner flaps are missing. Additionally, the box is a bit soft.
