Now available for sale is a pristine-looking Dairymen's League Reefer from 1981. This freight car was a significant break from Lionel tradition as it was Lionel's first ever attempt to weather or distress the exterior decoration on a freight car. This particular freight car is barely used and the slightest signs of ever being on the track. The exterior colors are vibrant while the side lettering is crisp and complete. Lastly, the box car has the premium die-cast sprung metal trucks and there is no rust, oxidation, damage, nicks nor chips on the freight car.
