Here's a beautiful, clean, complete and undamaged Ballast Tamper from the late 1950's. This interesting and action packed motorized unit has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested and it runs like a champ! Externally, the unit is clean, free of damage, nicks and chips plus there are no paint rub marks and the side lettering is crisp and complete. The front tampers all work properly and the only apology on the unit is the rear spring-loaded antenna is slightly bent. Internally, the unit is clean and free of rust and oxidation and operates perfectly. Lastly, this Fire Car includes an original postwar figure as well as two original track activators.
Also included with this unit is its original box and instructions. The instructions are a bit aged or soiled on the front, but otherwise complete. The original box is clean, solid, has all internal and external flaps but is missing the original insert.
