Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, all-original Navy Yard switcher unit from the mid-1950's. This small motorized locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested and it runs like a champ! Externally, the unit looks to be in near-new condition with a vibrant blue body as well as clean and complete white side lettering. Internally, the unit is as clean as the exterior, there is no rust nor oxidation on the base nor trucks plus all metal components are clean and have a factory fresh appearance! Lastly, the side window struts are complete and not cracked nor repaired.
Also included with this unit is its original box, insert and instructions. The instructions are clean, complete and dated 1956. The insert is clean, complete and free of tears plus the box has all internal and external flaps with only minor tears along the fold lines. Overall, a stunning items that can easily be the centerpiece of your collection!
