Up for sale is the early -- and very limited -- production variation of the Gang Car with the horn located in the center of the simulated motor cover. This variation was only manufactured for a portion of 1954 and Lionel quickly converted all Gang Cars to having their horn offset from the center -- which remained the norm for the the remainder of its production run. This particular unit is extremely clean, includes three original postwar figures and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and runs perfectly -- plus it is free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, all three simulated control handles are present on the control panel!
