Here's a beautiful, clean and undamaged red steel version of the 494 Rotary Beacon Tower along with its original box, insert, instructions and more. This light tower is free of dings, dents and damage but there are a couple of paint flakes by the screw holes on the base. The original postwar beacon top has been tested and it rotates nicely plus the light works properly.
Additionally, many other extras are included with the light tower. The Late Classic box is solid, has all internal and external flaps and there is no tape on the flaps but there is a small puncture hole on one side -- as seen in one of the photos above. Also included are two original postwar coiled wires, instructions correct dated February 1957 and an original and complete insert. Overall a very clean accessory that will fit into almost any small space on a layout.
