Now available for sale is the harder-to-find red top variation of the 455 Oil Derrick. This accessory has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and ready to install on your layout. The Oil Derrick is a reliable and popular accessory of many layout builders and this one would look great on your layout.
This oil derrick operates perfectly plus it includes an original, undamaged postwar 364C controller, four (probably) original oil drums, original instructions dated May 1951 and a reproduction Sunoco sign. The exterior colors on the accessory are clean, crisp and vibrant although there are some minor surface marks on the base as well as the red top, but the green support structure is in great condition and free of paint nicks and chips. Additionally, nothing is bent nor damaged on the derrick structure and certainly no rust nor oxidation.
