Now available for sale is a thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and ready to install # 455 Oil Derrick. This reliable and popular accessory is a fan favorite of many layout builders and this one would look great on your layout. There are some minor surface marks on the base, otherwise the rest of the accessory is easily condition 7, possibly 7+!
As mentioned above, this accessory operates perfectly plus the exterior colors are clean, crisp and vibrant. There is nothing bent nor damaged on the derrick structure and certainly no rust nor oxidation. Also included with the accessory are original instructions (dated May 1951), an original postwar # 455 Sunoco metal sign, original 364C controller and four original postwar oil drums.
Lastly, the correct original box for 1951 is also included -- but not the insert. The box has all interior and exterior flaps but as seen in the photo above, there is writing on the exterior.
