Now available for sale are four original postwar cable reels with original Lionel wiring. Below is a summary of the four reels:
- First: Slightly darker orange reel, white wire that has been partially used -- probably 40% remaining on the reel. The orange reel is complete and not nicked, chipped nor damaged. Condition is an 8.
- Second: Slightly brighter orange reel, maroon wire with original Lionel clear tape still attached. The clear tape is the early variation containing the Lionel Corporation name pre-printed on the tape. This is a New Old Stock reel that has never been used!
- Third: Slightly darker orange reel, white wire with original Lionel clear tape still attached. The clear tape is the later variation without the Lionel Corporation name pre-printed on the tape. This is a New Old Stock reel that has never been used!
- Fourth: Slightly darker orange reel, deep blue wire that has been partially used -- probably 80% remaining on the reel. The orange reel is complete and not nicked, chipped nor damaged. Condition is a 9.
