Now available for sale is a clean, all-original operating milk car set that has been thoroughly serviced, tested and is ready to install and use on your layout. The freight car has a nice, white body, clean and crisp side lettering and graphics plus a frame and trucks that are clean with only a couple of minor oxidation spots on the frame. Additionally, the original stand (with a reproduction silver platform) and original milk cans are included -- all of which compliment the condition of the freight car.
Lastly, this milk car includes an original Middle Classic box, insert, instructions plus the original packing envelope. The box is in poor condition with two inner flaps missing and tape on several existing flaps. The original insert is nice and clean as are the instructions (dated December 1955) but there are some tears on the instructions by the fold lines. Lastly, the component envelope is in poor condition with some staining on the exterior and the bottom of the envelope has opened. Finally, there is some pencil writing on the exterior "Reed from N.Y 4/13/56" -- which is probably the individual who purchased the item years ago.
