Additional Comments: Here's a little known fact; Lionel continued to print instruction sheets -- primarily for their more popular items -- for several years after production ended of a particular item. Lionel's rationale was straightforward -- when a customer lost their instructions for a train or accessory, Lionel wanted to be able to assist that customer in obtaining instructions for their trains. The end result was a logical and complementary service for Lionel, but an even happier customer in the end that could continue playing with their trains.
This particular instruction sheet is an original postwar instruction sheet for the 3656 operating Cattle Car and Corral. Although production of the 3656 ended in 1955, Lionel continued to print original instructions for this enormously popular accessory. This particular original instruction sheet -- printed in October 1966 -- has some usage marks on the first page and some aging or discoloration on the rear page, but all interior pages are nice and clean. Additionally, the edges are not torn nor frayed plus the corners are still nice and square. Overall a somewhat rare and original Lionel instruction sheet for the 3656 Cattle Car and Corral that was printed over a decade after production ended for the popular accessory!
Note: The AATS (All Aboard Train Shoppe) lettering is not part of the instructions -- only part of the on-line photo.
