Up for sale is a gorgeous, all original Helicopter Reconnaissance box car with an original postwar helicopter. This freight car is somewhat hard-to-find and this example looks beautiful. Externally, the colors are vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are pristine. There are no nicks, chips nor damaged to the body and the roof sections are both original components. The AAR trucks are complete and functional and the only blemish on the freight car is some very minor oxidation beginning on a couple of axles (the wheels are clean). Lastly, the internal operating mechanism is complete and operates perfectly.
Also included with the freight car is an original postwar helicopter and box. The helicopter is complete and undamaged. Additionally, the box is solid and has all internal and external flaps including the single coupler flaps -- although there are a couple of minor tears by the flap fold lines. Overall, a beautiful Space & Military freight car.
