Now available for sale is an original 3512 Fireman and Ladder flatcar from the early 1960's. This freight car is a true combination of good and bad news. Below is a summary of the freight car for sale:

• Pros:
• This freight car has the slightly harder-to-find silver ladder
• The light has been tested and does work properly
• Three reproduction nozzles are included -- plus the three tabs to hold the simulated nozzles are complete and not broken nor damaged
• A reproduction drive belt has been installed and works properly
• The cam to rotate the lamp shade (under the red lens) is fully functional
• The four tabs to hold the ladders (two on each side) are complete and not broken nor damaged
• A reproduction Fireman is included and rotates properly
• Both metal ladders are included, one for each side
• Cons:
• The ladder is frozen / rusted in place and is missing the string to extend the ladder
• The lamp shade (3512-58) is missing
• There is some dirt / staining on each side where the top platform meets the flatcar.

Overall, a decent operator grade freight car that will require a little TLC to be complete and functional.
