Up for sale is a clean, all-original 3472 operating milk car, complete with an original stand, milk cans, box & instructions. This operating milk car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to run on your layout. The exterior color is extremely clean, the side lettering and graphics are crisp and clean plus the base, trucks and wheels are free or rust and oxidation. Overall condition of the freight car is closer to a 7++. Additionally, this freight car includes a set of seven milk cans plus an original postwar platform with a reproduction top platform. Lastly, the green and white base has a handful of paint flakes, so the stand is graded at a 6+.
Also included are original instructions dated 1953 as well as the original box. The box is in poor condition but does have both end and tuck flaps plus three of the four interior flaps.
