Now available for sale is a beautiful, all-original 3462 operating milk car, complete with an original stand, milk cans and box and much more! This operating milk car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to run on your layout. Externally, the colors are vibrant with minimal to barely no signs of aging, the side lettering and graphics are crisp and clean plus the base and trucks are free of rust and oxidation. Also included with the milk are are the following components:
- Original early variation to the stand with the smaller controller opening in the base -- which is correct for 1947.
- Original box for the milk cans, with the appropriate lettering being for the 3462. However, one end flap is missing.
- Original instructions -- without the date printed on the back page -- which is correct for 1947.
- Original box and insert. The box has all internal and external flaps, but there is clear tape on a couple interior flaps. The insert is complete and not torn nor damaged.
- Set of seven postwar milk cans
- Original inspection tag.
