Up for sale is a brand new, never used and still factory sealed Pennsylvania Flyer steam freight set from the early 2000's. This complete and ready-to-run entry level set is a great birthday or Christmas gift as it contains everything you need to set up and run your trains. Included in the set are the following components:
- Die-cast 4-4-2 Pennsylvania steam locomotive with precision can motor, transformer controlled forward, neutral and reverse, functional headlight and puffing smoke unit.
- Detailed molded tender body with stamped metal frame and functional electronic air whistle.
- All rolling stock features metal wheels, axles and brake wheels, detailed molded bodies plus functional couplers.
- Pennsylvania box car has opening side doors.
- Pennsylvania gondola has removable canisters.
- Pennsylvania caboose has interior illumination.
- 40 watt/3 amp transformer/controller.
- 8 sections of straight and 8 sections of curved O-27 tubular track.
Note: since the set has never been used in the past quarter century, it is advisable to put a drop or two of oil on all wheels / axles plus some grease on the locomotives gears prior to usage.
