Up for sale is a nice and clean, all-original Truss Bridge from the early 1940's. This accessory is complete, free of rust and oxidation but there are minor surface paint nicks and flakes on the exterior. The bridge was designed for a single piece of O gauge tubular track to fit directly on top of each of the three base support brackets, there is no need to elevate the track as it approaches the bridge.
Regarding it's condition, all metal sections are straight plus there is an extra hole drilled into each of the end base support cross members. Finally, this truss bridge has the following construction features:
- True red painted exterior
- The Lionel lettering on each side is the decal variation -- which is slightly harder to find versus the more common brass name plate on each side
