Additional Comments: Up for sale is a nice and clean, all original Middle Classic box and insert for the 2671W tender. This specific tender box was available with the 671 turbine in both 1949 and 1950 as well as the 681 turbine manufactured between 1950 and 1952. The box has clean and vibrant exterior colors, is solid, nice and square and there is no tape on the interior nor exterior. The box includes all interior flaps and the insert is solid and not torn or missing any folded flaps. The only apology is some shelf wear on the exterior as well as someone writing "Eldridge" on one side and the insert has the initials "PJS" on the insert interior. Overall, a nice box that is usually found in less than collector condition.
