Now available for sale is a gorgeous, all-original Fork Lift Platform from the later 1950's along with its original box and the rare inserts! This popular accessory has been cleaned, serviced, tested and works exactly as designed by Lionel. The box is solid and clean plus it includes the rare original insert as well as a complete parts envelope with original postwar components. All of these items compliment the accessory and are also in condition 8.
Regarding the accessory, the base is clean and the metal platform is flawless. Additionally, all plastic components are clean and complete, show minimal signs of usage and no signs of aging nor discoloration. The freight car has only the faintest signs of usage but still has vibrant colors, crisp side lettering, fresh metal components -- plus the couplers still work properly. Even the forklift and driver are original postwar components, free of damage, nicks and chips and it too is in condition 8.
Lastly, components of the 264-30 envelope include:
- 17 original timbers, # 264-11
- Eight 2411-4 metal posts / stakes
- 90C controller
- Three 81-32 connecting wires
- 264-28 Instruction sheet dated July 1957
