Here's a really nice and clean, all-original tinplate caboose from the mid-1940's. This caboose is the later variation with coil couplers -- which are complete and fully functional. The exterior colors on the caboose are vibrant, the side lettering is crisp and clean and the only apology is some paint loss on one end railing and very minor paint wear along the edge of the roof line from handling. Overall, a very nice and clean caboose that generally appears for sale in well used condition.
