Now available for sale is a beautiful and undamaged tinplate caboose from 1945. This Pennsylvania caboose is the early variation with a flying shoe trucks and dual couplers. The exterior colors on the caboose are vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are crisp and complete. Even the end railings -- which are prone to paint chipping -- are in fantastic condition with nearly no paint loss! Lastly, the interior light has been tested and works properly however the celluloid window inserts have deteriorated with age and are on the interior of the caboose, unfortunately no longer attached to the window frames. Overall, a great looking caboose that usually appears in well used or poor condition.
