Up for sale is an all-original, clean and undamaged D. L. & W. work caboose with the somewhat rare rubber stamped lettering on the frame. This caboose has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and the searchlight is fully functional. The work caboose has vibrant exterior colors with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. There are some minor paint nicks and marks on the cab, however the rest of the caboose is graded closer to 7+. There are no stress cracks on the rear roof overhang plus the tool bins are complete and free of nicks and chips. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on the trucks or frame plus all four corner metal steps are present and not damaged.
Also included with the caboose is the original box and insert. The insert is complete and solid with nothing torn nor missing. The original box is missing one interior flap and one tuck flap -- plus there is clear tape on the interior of several flaps. Overall, a decent box with only a couple of apologies.
