Here's a gorgeous set of original 2353 Santa Fe F3 AA diesels from the early to mid-1950's. These Santa Fe locomotives are decorated with the popular war-bonnet Santa Fe paint scheme most modelers and collectors enjoy seeing on their layout or in a display case. Both units have a vibrant and clean silver exterior, nice red and yellow accents plus crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the shells are complete, not damaged nor cracked and the front decals look great -- although there is a paint imperfection on the roof of the power unit as seen in the 13th (final) photo above.
Each locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly. The e-unit cycles correctly, the horn has been battery tested and is fully functional, the front couplers and interior lights work properly and both sets of magne-traction trucks are clean and complete. Additionally, the interior of each diesel is as clean as the exterior. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either locomotive.
These diesels can easily be used on a layout or proudly displayed within a display case -- they are gorgeous and very close to condition 8!
