Now available for sale is a beautiful, all-original Santa Fe F3 B unit diesel from the early 1950's. This F3 center unit is the earlier production variation with the metal screen roof louvers. Externally, the unit looks great, the silver is clean and vibrant while the side lettering, graphics and colors are crisp and complete with no signs of wear. The side porthole lends are original postwar production components, the base is clean and free of rust and oxidation but there are a couple of minor surface marks on the exterior from usage Lastly, all four metal corner footsteps are present.
Also included is its original box, insert and wrapping paper. The box includes all exterior and interior flaps, but the box is a bit soft and does have some small tears by the flap fold lines. Lastly, the original insert is complete and not damaged nor torn.
