Up for sale is the one-year-only 2340 GG-1 from 1955. The 2340 was available in both tuscan and green and both variations are gorgeous locomotive. This particular near-new GG-1 has stunning and gorgeous exterior colors with clean and complete side stripes plus perfect side and front decals. The locomotive has been fully cleaned, serviced, tested and operates just as designed by Lionel 70+ years ago. Obviously, there is no rust nor oxidation on this GG-1 electric locomotive.
Also included with this 2340 GG-1 is a complete original box with an original insert. Both items are as solid as a brick and look to be in near-new condition -- complimenting the locomotive. The box and insert have all flaps, they are free of tape and writing plus there are no puncture holes in either item.
