Up for sale is a prototypical looking 2339 Wabash GP-7 road switcher shell that is somewhat hard-to-find as the locomotive was only manufactured for a single year: 1956. This diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and other than the horn, all functionality operates just as designed by Lionel. The motor runs nice and smoothly, the e-unit cycles errorfree and the original horn does work -- but the relay is not functioning properly and probably needs to be replaced. Additionally, the frame has been repainted, there are some minor surface marks on the exterior from usage and a mild or light stain on one side of the long hood (as seen in the first photo above). Overall, a decent operator grade road switcher with complete and undamaged window struts that runs like a champ. Finally, each end is complete and free of cracks by the screwholes.
