Here's a clean, classic Lionel GG-1 from the late 1940's. This electric locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and works great. There is no rust nor oxidation on the locomotive, the e-unit cycles perfectly, the couplers function properly and both headlights do illuminate, however, the horn does not work. As seen in the photos above there are external scratches from 75+ years of usage, but no damage to the GG-1. The side lettering, stripes and numbers on one side are much more vibrant compared to the opposite side -- which has the typical wear from handling. Overall, a nice operator grade locomotive.
