Now available for sale is the very early 1955 variation with raised ladder molds and the orange shell. This fairly difficult variation of the 2243 Santa Fe has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operates perfectly. The e-unit cycles properly, the headlight does illuminate and the horn is functional. The exterior colors are clean, the side lettering, graphics and decals are nice, but as shown in the photos above there is a lot of handling wear along the top edge on each side -- plus surface marks from usage. Otherwise, the frame is clean, free of rust and oxidation and the diesel still has both number boards present on the front. Overall, a nice operator grade diesel with no damage.
