Now available for sale is a beautiful set of 208 Santa Fe Alco AA diesels from 1958 / 1959. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to run on your layout or proudly displayed within your display case. The exterior colors are pristine, the side lettering is clean and all decals are in nice condition but do have the typical cracking from age on each diesel nose. Additionally, the front apron on each unit is complete and not damaged, cracked nor repaired. Lastly, the frames, trucks and wheels are free of rust and oxidation and all functionality operates as designed by Lionel including the motor, headlight, magnetraction and e-unit. Features of these Alco diesels include:
- Dual axle power
- Magnetraction on both axles
- Illuminated front headlight
- Three position e-unit
- Functional horn that has been battery tested and works properly
