Here's an extremely clean, all-original 2037 Prairie steam locomotive with a 243W whistling tender. Both the steam locomotive and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly as the e-unit cycles smoothly, the smoke unit works properly, the front headlight does illuminate and the whistle is loud. The exterior colors are clean, the side lettering is crisp and both units are free of rust and oxidation.
However, there are two apologies on the set. The first is the tender is missing one of the front corner steps as seen in the 5th photo above. Secondly, the steamer has one of the front cowcatch steps slightly bent into the upright position -- also visible in the 5th photo above. Both of these issues are cosmetic and do not impact the performance of the unit. Overall, a very nice looking operator grade locomotive and whistling tender.
