Here's a nice and clean 2033 Union Pacific Alco AA diesel set from 1952. These silver diesel locomotives -- which are significantly harder to find compared to the 2023 Union Pacific silver diesels from 1951 -- have vibrant silver exterior colors, clean and crisp side lettering and near-perfect front decals. Internally, the frames, motor and trucks are just as clean as the exterior. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and they run like a champ! The only blemishes on the locomotives are some mild or minor spotting on the roof tops and the power unit looks like it was cleaned at some point in the past on one side and has impacted the vibrancy of the silver paint (see photo 2, lower locomotive). Otherwise, all functionality including the horn, e-unit, lights and couplers work as designed by Lionel.
Also included with this diesel set is a complete, solid and absolutely gorgeous original box. The box is clean, free of writing and stains, has excellent printing on the ends and includes the larger insert -- but both of the smaller inserts are missing. Lastly, original instructions properly dated 1952 are included with these locomotives.
