Here's a beautiful postwar K-4 Pacific steam locomotive and tender from the early 1950's. This steamer is the later variation with the 2-6-2 wheel arrangement plus the tender has a reproduction tender shell. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works exactly as designed -- and the smoke unit puffs like a chimney! There is no damage to either item and the exterior colors are nice and clean. Lastly, the side lettering and numbers are clean, the drive rods are free of rust and oxidation plus the boiler front is an original 1952 component.
