Up for sale is a gorgeous 027 gauge of Lionel's popular turbine from 1949. Both the turbine and tender have pristine exterior colors plus the side numbers and lettering are crisp, clean and complete. The tender's shell is original and free of damage plus the turbine and whistling tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works perfectly -- although the smoke element has been replace with a liquid-only smoke unit. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either item.
