Now available for sale is an original Lionel's engineers cap from the 1952 era. These caps were part of a mail-in promotion sponsored by Lionel and were available in three sizes; small, medium or large.
This particular cap is in great condition as there are no tears, frayed seams nor moth holes in the cloth. It's a child's size small, has a clean exterior cloth, the cap brim has crisp and complete lettering and there is only minor signs of handling or usage on the brim of the cap. Lastly, the interior is complete. Overall, a beautiful cap that rarely surfaces for sale.
