Product Overview
Condition: 9 Original Box: N/A Year: 1998
Here's a thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested 18662 steam switcher locomotive with a slope back tender. This somewhat hard to find steamer is modeled after the postwar Lionel 1615 locomotive. It was only manufactured for a single year -- 1996 -- but includes several upgrades such as directional lighting and a functional smoke unit in the steam engine. Both the steamer and tender operate as designed with an electronic e-unit, functional and directional headlight on the steamer and tender, can motor plus a smoke unit in the engine. The exterior colors and numbers on the switcher are gorgeous and there is barely any wheel wear on this low mileage unit. Lastly, the front marker lights are still properly attached and not damaged nor repaired.
