Now available for sale is the popular and colorful 1776 Spirit of 76 U36B diesel from the mid-1970's. The diesel has the faintest signs of possibly being test run -- otherwise it's in near-new condition. Externally, the diesel has pristine colors with vibrant side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame, motor and trucks are as clean as the exterior and free or rust and oxidation. The motor has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ. Lastly, the lights work properly, the e-unit is functional and the front functional coupler is fully operational.
Also included with the diesel are all original paperwork items including:
- Original warranty card.
- Lionel Service Station Listing.
- An original Lionel box that is as solid as a brick and includes a complete and original syrofoam insert.
