Up for sale is a gorgeous 1655 scout style steam locomotive with the correct 6654W whistling tender. Both the steam locomotive and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested and it flies around the track! The three position e-unit cycles properly, the motor runs nice and smooth, the front headlight does illuminate properly and the whistle in the tender is loud! Both front marker lights are still attached, the cowcatcher is not broken nor damaged and each unit is free of dents, dings, oxidation and rust. Externally, the colors on the steamer and tender are vibrant, the side lettering is crisp and bright and the only two minor blemishes are some paint loss on one side of the tender frame and the side rods have some aging or tarnishing on the surface. Otherwise, this is an absolutely beautiful steamer and tender that generally appear for sale in well used condition.
Lastly, the original overstamped box and insert are included for the steam locomotive. As seen in the photos, the box is missing all end flaps, but the insert is complete and solid.
